Leotard Care
Do this!
Turn your garment inside out before washing to protect the fabric.
Wash on a gentle, short cycle with cold water and a mild liquid detergent.
After washing, tumble dry on low heat or no heat to preserve the fabric's integrity.
Always remove your garment promptly from the washer to avoid wrinkles.
Don’t do this!
Never soak, bleach, or use harsh detergents or fabric softeners.
Do not iron, dry clean, or hang dry your leotard.
Don’t apply antiperspirants before or during leotard use.
Important Notes:
Metallic or foiled fabrics may show signs of wear over time, particularly in high-contact areas or where sweat or deodorants are involved.
Nylon Lycra fabrics are our most durable and will show the least amount of wear over time!
Pilling can happen on sublimated fabrics when exposed to rough surfaces like velcro. The areas most prone to this are typically the back and bottom of the leotard.
All of our pieces are made from high-quality, delicate fabrics, so it’s important to follow these care instructions to maintain their longevity. We are not responsible for damage caused by improper washing or care.
